Switch from Untappd for Business in an afternoon
Bring your menus, taps and prices with you. Keep your TVs (Fire TV works great), get branding on every plan, and pay $15 per screen with the first one free.
Three ways to import
UfB API token
Premium accounts. In UfB, create a read-only API token, then paste your account email and token into BreweryTV. We pull your locations, menus, sections, items and serving sizes.
Use a read-only token. You can delete it in UfB once the import is done.
Menu History export
Any plan. In UfB, export your Menu History spreadsheet and upload it. Tap numbers, producer names, styles and ABV come across.
Check the export covers your current menu before uploading.
Public menu link
Any plan. Paste the link to your public menu or website embed. We read what guests can see and build your tap list from it.
Quickest, but only brings over what's displayed publicly.
What comes across
- Beers: name, brewery, style, ABV, IBU, description
- Menus and sections (On Tap, Cans To Go, and so on)
- Tap numbers and order
- Serving sizes and prices
What doesn't
- Untappd ratings, check-ins and badges (those are Untappd's)
- Label images we can't verify you have rights to (you can upload your own)
- Your UfB board designs. Pick a BreweryTV theme and brand it instead; it takes minutes.
The switch, step by step
- Create your BreweryTV account at app.brewerytv.com. No card needed.
- Import with one of the three paths above. Review the tap list and fix anything odd.
- Pick a theme and add your logo, colors and fonts.
- Pair one TV. On your existing Fire TV, install the BreweryTV app (or open play.beermenu.tv in the browser) and enter the code at beermenu.tv/pair.
- Swap your QR codes. Print new table tents pointing at beermenu.tv/your-brewery.
- Pair the rest of your TVs, then cancel UfB. Untappd's help center says cancellation is handled by contacting their team, so check your renewal date first.
What changes for you
- Published pricing: $15/screen/mo, $12 annual, first screen free
- Logo, colors and fonts on every plan, not just Premium
- Roku, Android/Google TV, smart-TV browsers and Raspberry Pi, not only Fire TV
- Keg tracking and an on-deck queue
- No ads or other venues on your guest menu

What to know before you switch
- We don't have Untappd's beer database. Imports cover your current menu; new guest beers you type in (once).
- POS sync (Toast, Square) is coming soon, not live.
- No Untappd check-in or rating display.
Switching questions
Will I lose my tap numbers and prices?
No. All three import paths keep tap numbers, sections, serving sizes (containers) and prices where your source has them.
Do you import Untappd ratings or check-ins?
No. Ratings and check-ins belong to Untappd. We import your menu: beers, styles, ABV/IBU, descriptions, sections, taps and prices.
Can I run both while I switch?
Yes. Import, set up a theme and pair one TV on the free screen. Cancel UfB once you're happy. BreweryTV has no contract.
I'm on Essentials. Can I still import?
Yes. The API is Premium-only, so Essentials users import the Menu History export or paste their public menu link.
